Warm machine wash and air dry
Standard kitchen sponges with the green or white scouring pads are made from petroleum based plastic. They shed microplastics (which have been banned from cosmetics in the UK) as they deteriorate and at best they last a few weeks. Basically they are a complete nightmare for the environment and everyone who uses them.
