Rowen Stillwater started this shop after embarking on her own zero waste journey, and her products are based on tried and tested sustainable alternatives she has used herself.
As your Coffee Sponge is made from 100% natural materials you can wash it with your towels or freshen it in your regular wash - every 4-5 days will keep it in tip-top condition. You can also sterilise them with a quick blast in the microwave or in the dishwasher.
We love the idea of giving used coffee sacks a second life – the perfect fabric to tackle the toughest kitchen and bathroom jobs!
All items are sent using minimal, plastic-free packing packaging.
Standard kitchen sponges with the green scouring pads shed micro-plastics as they deteriorate and, at best, they last a few weeks. Go for a natural cotton option that you can disinfect and clean in the washing machine. At the end of it's life, simply cut it up and throw it in the compost!
  • Size: Each sponge is approximately 12cm long x 8cm wide x 1cm deep.
  • Upcycled from the fabric of a coffee sack
  • Tough jute top is stitched to a canvas liner and pure cotton back before being filled with compostable cellulose.
